Ladders Transported by HDNL

On Thursday, Tony travelled up to the North East Aircraft Museum along with six push-along ladders which have been kindly donated by Ideal World shopping channel. These were transported by Home Delivery Network (HDNL). We thank both companies very much for this work they have undertaken, which involved a long journey by road.

The picture here shows Tony with Hugh, the Chairman at NEAM, and two of the ladders. In the background is NEAM’s Vulcan bomber.

The picture below shows the HDNL lorry which transported the ladders up to the museum.

This site represents the bid to save and preserve the last complete Hawker Siddeley HS.121 Trident 1C anywhere in the world. This is G-ARPO, the 16th Trident built and the last 1C to fly. It is based in the north east of England. We will be moving it to the North East Aircraft Museum at Sunderland later in 2010.

Saving this aircraft is only going to be possible through donations to the project. Our biggest costs will be to cover the dismantling, transportation, and reassembly of the aircraft.

All money goes towards the aircraft, and no team member takes anything from it. If you donate, you will have your name on the Roll of Honour onboard the restored aircraft.
