Gil-Good Lodge Provide Belfast Accommodation

We’ve been very fortunate to have accommodation for Neil and Tony provided by Gil-Good Lodge in Lisburn, Co. Antrim, when we visit this month.

This hotel, with 14 ensuite rooms and all the comforts you could ask for, is located very close to Belfast International Airport, so it’s ideal for our trip. Why not try them out when flying from the airport, or visiting this part of Northern Ireland. They’d love to welcome you and give you some tips on what to see in the area.

This site represents the bid to save and preserve the last complete Hawker Siddeley HS.121 Trident 1C anywhere in the world. This is G-ARPO, the 16th Trident built and the last 1C to fly. It is based in the north east of England. We will be moving it to the North East Aircraft Museum at Sunderland later in 2010.

Saving this aircraft is only going to be possible through donations to the project. Our biggest costs will be to cover the dismantling, transportation, and reassembly of the aircraft.
