This site represents the bid to save and preserve the last complete Hawker Siddeley HS.121 Trident 1C anywhere in the world. This is G-ARPO, based in the north east of England. We hope to move it to a museum later in 2010.
Please Donate!
Saving this aircraft is only going to be possible through donations to the project. Our biggest costs will be to cover the dismantling, transportation, and reassembly of the aircraft.
All money goes towards the aircraft, and no team member takes anything from it. If you donate, you will have your name on the Roll of Honour onboard the restored aircraft.
If you are able to give anything, please click the above link to donate through PayPal, or click here to read more.
The team behind this project to save Trident G-ARPO is:
Tony Jarrett
Neil Lomax
Matt Falcus
Julian Cannon
Bruce Partington
Peter Foster
Thanks
Special thanks go out to Stuart Davies and Steven Metcalf at Serco's IFTC for their commitment and support for this project, and for allowing us to take the aircraft.
Thanks also to Peter Foster, former Senior Duty Manager at Durham Tees Valley, who has a vast experience in aviation and was the last man to marshall G-ARPO.
